Annoucing two new films from Staff of Hope

We're excited to announce the premiere of two short films about Staff of Hope, Dreams to be Obama and Being Damaris. Filmed on location at Staff of Hope's Oloile Secondary School in Kimana Kenya, these films give a brief glimpse into the lives of two special children and how access to education has changed their lives. Dreams to be Obama and Being Damaris are inspiring stories, told by the students in their own words as they share their hopes and dreams as well as the obstacles they've overcome. These touching films are not to be missed.

Dreams to be Obama

In Dreams to be Obama, James Wainaina and his class mates at the Oloile secondary school share their dreams, for their lives, their community and their country. This short film explores the inspiring hope of these children as they envision a better world.

Being Damaris

Being Damaris is a film that provides the brief glimpse into the life of a student at the Oloile secondary school. Damaris Lekatoo shares life through her eyes as she struggles to overcome the difficulties of achieving an education and a better life in rural Kenya.
