Together we are making an impact!

While walking to school, Margaret was attacked by a hyena... yes a hyena! After surgery and healing she was more determined than ever to get her education. When Margaret graduated from Staff of Hope’s Oloile High School, she had the highest grades in her class. On December 4, 2015, Margaret will graduate with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in accounting/finance, from a very reputable university in Nairobi. It is Margaret’s hope that with her degree she can help others in her community as well as to be a positive role model for other girls.
Esther had to walk 5 miles, twice a day, every day to get water for her family in the same stream that goats and cows drank from. Staff of Hope’s drill rig came to her community, drilled a well, constructed a water tower, built two troughs for the animals, and piped water to irrigate fields so crops could be grown. Now Esther and her community have clean, easily accessible water and they are all healthier and better able to care for themselves.
In rural Kenya, there is much to overcome. Yet with the determined spirits of Kenya and the generous hearts of Staff of Hope donors, we are making an impact!
